Our team typically follows a structured process of rescue, rehabilitation, and eventual adoption or release. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how we rescue stray animals and provides them rehabilitation:
1. Rescue Operations
We receive information from the community reporting the presence of sick, injured, or abandoned animals.
We often send a team to safely capture the animal and depending upon the situation, we might involve working with community people.
Once rescued, the animal is transported to veterinary clinic for medical care and then to our recovery home if needed.
2. On spot treatment
Our team checks for injuries or any other underlying health conditions and provides immediate medical care to the stray animal on the spot.
3. Recovery home
As we don’t have a shelter, we temporarily foster the animals as per their need ( pre/ post operative, medical conditions).
4.Adoption or Release
Once the animals are rehabilitated, some animals are released to their original location if it’s deemed safe or the animal is able to survive independently. They are returned after being spayed or neutered.
For some animals we try to find permanent homes. We often organize adoption events, where potential pet parents can meet and adopt rescued animals. We ensure that adopters are screened and educated about responsible pet ownership.
