Once upon a time, Lucy’s life was a tale of struggle and resilience. She came to us in a heartbreaking state—paralyzed, weak, and suffering from deep maggot wounds. Her eyes held pain, but somewhere beneath the suffering, there was a spark of determination.
With love, care, and medical treatment, Lucy made an incredible recovery. Slowly, she regained strength, and while she may not be as swift as before, her spirit is stronger than ever!

Today, Lucy is no ordinary dog—she is the Dadi (grandmother) of our recovery home. She has taken it upon herself to discipline the younger pups, ensure order during mealtime, and, of course, demand her fair share of belly rubs.
